For smaller organisations, the stakes are high. Limited resources mean that missteps are costly, and trust, whether from clients, partners, or the public, is hard-won.

But SMEs also have an advantage: agility. Clear lines of responsibility, close collaboration, and domain expertise make it easier to build AI systems that are proportionate, transparent, and well governed.
